Tom Trella grew up in Kelayres, PA and graduated from Hazleton High School in 1986. He served in the Army Reserves for six years and did a tour of duty in Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Desert Storm. Tom is married to the former Allyson Fisher. They have two daughters. Tom founded the Cigar Box in 1996. He also owned and operated a convenience store up until 2005, when he then opened Capriotti's Catering. Tom has been involved in the catering business for over 20 years. In January of 2012, Capriotti's will be moving into their brand new banquet facility.

Tom is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and has watched every game since 1992. He was lucky enough to have been in attendance at the game where Emmitt Smith broke the all time rushing record.

Tom is quite the cigar aficionado. Some of his favorite cigars include Acid One, Acid Kuba Kuba, Opus X, Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente, Ashton and Oliva cigars and the Gurkha TMB Blends. The best cigar he ever smoked was the Opus X Chili Pepper, while visiting Chateau de la Fuente Farms in the Dominican Republic.

Laure is married to her husband Bobby for 29 years and counting. Her most precious accomplishment is being a mother to her two daughters, Mallory and Mackenzie. She was Miss Future Business Leader of America as a senior at Hazleton High School. She has been self employed since she was 22 years old and an owner/operator of Cigar Box since 1996. In her spare time she is an adult tap dance student, loves roller coasters, and enjoys reconnecting with past HHS 1979 classmates through facebook. Laurie still has a crush on her teen idol, Donny Osmond, which she had the pleasure of meeting recently.

Michael graduated with a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies from Muhlenberg College in 2002. He is a graduate of Hazleton Area High School. Michael played basketball in High School and College. At Muhlenberg he was the starting shooting guard for 4 seasons and Captain his junior and senior year. He is married to Laura and has one daughter Mikayla. Michael's interest in cigars began on the golf course and progressed once he became involved in the tobacco industry. He has been to the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Puerto Rico, and Mexico many times to visit the tobacco fields, farms, and rolling facilities. This has allowed him to gain a better understanding and appreciation for the industry from the master blenders themselves.

Bonnie is married to her husband, Dean, for 23 years. She has one son, one daughter, and one dog. She loves to cook and bake. Nothing is more important to her than family. When you are a friend of hers, it is for life. Bonnie loves the summer, is a southern girl at heart, loves muscle cars, and has even owned a few. Bonnie is truly a Jane of All Trades.

Eddie is married to his wife Ann Marie of 26 years and they have two children, Kyle and Tara. He is the oldest of four siblings and is the first to attend and graduate college. He is a 1984 graduate of Bloomsburg University. In high school, he set a Hazleton High School track record that will never be broken. To this day, he is the best lefty 25 handicap golfer in the area. His favorite food is mom's halupki. Last but not least, he is a Mets and Jets fan.

Mike Malloy has been employed by the Cigar Box for four years. He is a graduate of Hazleton Area High School and also Bloomsburg University. He enjoys all sports, especially football and basketball. He is also a cigar enthusiast and would like to share his top ten cigars with you:

Mackenzie Veet is a graduate of Hazleton Area High School. She is attending Luzerne County Community College working towards a degree in Psychology. Someday she hopes to earn her doctorate and work in the Asylum in Canada. In her spare time, Mackenzie stays active in the community by visiting local nursing home patients.

Brandon is a graduate of Hazleton Area High School and is currently attending Penn State University. His major is Criminal Justice. Brandon is in the United States AirForce ROTC program with aspirations of becoming a pilot or entering security forces. He has been employed at Cigar Box since 2008. His favorite cigar brand is Rocky Patel.

Scott is a junior at Bloomsburg University, majoring in Music Education. He has been employed at the Cigar Box since 2007. Scott enjoys the performance arts and likes singing and acting. He has been selected to sing at many local events. Scott currently resides in Mountaintop, PA but is looking forward to traveling to Africa this spring to study abroad. He first learned about the cigar industry through his grandfather, who is an avid cigar smoker.

Pat was born in Pennsylvania but grew up in New Jersey. She made it to the NJ State Spelling Bee Championship when she was in the 4th grade. She was the high school prom queen and is a graduate of Allentown Business School with a 4.0 GPA. She is married to her husband, Mike, for 20 years. They are both avid Yankees fans and enjoy being beach bums in their spare time. She has one indoor cat named Sabrina and many outdoor pets, including families of deer, raccoons, turkeys, and an occasional bear. Her favorite TV shows are The Biggest Loser, Jersey Shore, and any shows on HGTV.
